This style of "wrap-over" guitar bridge/tailpiece combination has seen a resurgence of popularity in the last few years. Its appeal and sound quality lie in the simplicity of the original design. However, individual string intonation left a little to be desired. Now with the addition of a movable G and B saddle, many different string gauges can be perfectly tuned to make your guitar sound even better.

Quality Wilkinson Aluminium guitar bridge, wrap over (wrap round) the classic simple design with modern improvement with adjustable, compensated G and B Saddle to allow the best tuning of your SG or LP Junior style guitar whatever the gauge. Comes with adjusting Allen key and Posts.

Nice, but...

I purchased this to replace the bridge that came on a DYI kit from Harley Benton for a CST-24 guitar. The chrome plating covers the grooves for the strings right at the exit point so I had to file down the end of the grooves with a diamond file. Also, the threads on the posts were just a bit smaller in diameter than the plugs in the guitar. I fixed this by wrapping them with two wounds of plumber's tape. The new bridge is quite a bit heavier than the one that I replaced, so there are now no dead spots or "wolf notes" on my fretboard. I installed this in conjunction with a new set of Grover 305C tuners and now the guitar stays in tune much better.
